和楽器バンド・テレビ東京リオ五輪中継テーマソング「起死回生」鈴華ゆう子さんの衣装をお作りしました。/I made Yuko Suzuhana's (from Wagakki band)costume for “Kishikaisei”,the theme song for Rio Olympics relay on TV Tokyo.

テレビ東京のリオオリンピック中継テーマソングとなった今作の衣装は、
ゆう子さんのみ担当いたしました！
I was in charge of a costume of Yuko for a theme song for Rio Olympics on TV Tokyo!
楽器隊7人はスタイリスト・高橋毅さんが担当なさっています！
Costumes for the seven members of the band are by Tsuyoshi Takahashi!
花魁風というテーマをまず頂き、それにそ沿ってご本人とアイディアを出し合い完成しました。
I was first requested that the theme should be Oiran, and then we bounced ideas off each other and accomplished the task.
青いスカートは現在では、 「天樂/ボカロ三昧」や「戦-ikusa-」の衣装のように、
ライブ対応仕様として短く作り変えて使っています。
Now, the blue skirt is cut short like the costumes for 「Tengaku/Vocalozanmai」 and 「戦-ikusa-」 for live performances.
恒例の元の素材・柄紹介！
Now, let me introduce the original materials and patterns as usual!
前帯は、花魁風味を守りつつ軽快さも欲しかったので、通常の元の帯の幅よりわざと細くしてあります。
As for the front belt, I wanted it to remain the image of Oiran and at the same time, to express lightness, so I made it thinner than ordinary ones.
丈の短い羽織を羽織っているように見せたデザインと作りになっています。
I designed it so that it looks like it wears short jacket.
半襟はいつもは華やかさ重視のものを選びますが、この鶴の半襟を見つけた時に
「飛翔」というキーワードが頭に浮かび、応援歌にふさわしいと思い選びました。
Though I usually choose fancy neckpieces, I adopted this one as the keyword ”flight” came into my head and it firmly made me believe it must fit the cheering song.
袖口も重ね着感を出すために、下の青い着物が少しだけ見えているような仕立てに。
I made it as the blue kimono exposes a bit so it looks like layered.
