和楽器バンドさん、新ビジュアルの全員の衣装デザインをさせて頂きました！

新アルバム「八奏絵巻」、MV「暁ノ糸」両方で使われているビジュアルです。

今までゆう子さんのをずっとと、黒流さんのを2度、亜沙さんのを1度作ってきましたが、

今回初めて全員の衣装を手がけさせて頂きました！

I was allowed to do all of the clothing design for WagakkiBand’s new look!

They are being used for Yasouemaki's new album and Akatsuki no ito's music video.

Up until now I've worked with Yuko for a long time, twice with Kurona and once with Asa, but this time for the first time ever I've been allowed to work on everyone's clothes

黒ベース、紫刺し色が全体のイメージだったので、

ゆう子さん以外全員に黒留袖＋同じ紫の布を使い、統一感とシャープさを出しました。

※個人に合わせた物を均一サイズの女性トルソーに着せて撮影しているので違和感あると思いますが悪しからず。。。

The entire color image was a black base, with purple points, so apart from on Yuko, I used a black "Tomesode"kimono and the same purple cloth for everyone, to give them a sense of unity and sharpness.

What they were made to wear in the photo was made to fit the torso of an average sized woman, so I'm sorry they look a bit uncomfortable...

今回のお二人は、デザインと生地選びまでは自分でやり、製作は工房さんにお任せしました。

This time for these two, I did the design and chose the fabric myself, but left the production up to the workshop.

テーマはおしゃれ僧侶。

大輔さんだからこそのデザイン！

The theme is a bold, stylish monk.

The design was chosen because it suits Daisuke's shaved head!

衿の金の帯地＋紫の重ね衿で雅な雰囲気を。

重ね着している風できちっと感を出しつつ、パンツは天然素材を使うことによってわびさび的な?(←いい言葉が見つからない笑)

自然な感じを狙いました。

中に着ているシャツも、砂や石を連想させるような、ざらざら感のある布を探し、質感にこだわりました。

For the collar, the gold obi and purple layered collar create an elegant atmosphere.

For the pants, I was aiming to produce a neat feeling with the layered style, while creating a quiet simplicity, and natural feel by using natural materials.

For the shirt worn on the inside, to be reminiscent of sand and rocks, I looked for a coarse material,and went with that texture.

鶴、雲、松、流水、片輪車など、吉祥文様たくさんです！

There are many auspicious patterns such as a crane, clouds, running water and "katawa guruma" wheels!

亜沙さん編
Asa collection

亜沙さんのテーマはおとな七五三。お被布（七五三の時に女児が羽織っているもの）

のディティールをデザインに取り入れました。

こちらは中性的な亜沙さんだからこそ思いついたデザイン♪

Asa's theme is a cool adult version of the 7-5-3 day dress. The design incorporates details from a "hifu" (the coat worn by young girls for the 7-5-3 day festival).

Here Asa is androgynous, so this design could be used♪
