今月半ば、衣装管理として同行していた和楽器バンドのアメリカ西海岸ツアーから、
Vo.ゆう子さんのみ夏のライブ用新衣装が登場しました!
From the Wagakki Band tour on the West Coast of U.S.A I accompanied them as a stylist for in the middle of this month, a new costume for Yuko Suzuhana`s summer concert appeared!
今年は野外での夏フェスに出演する機会が多いためということで、
デザインや着物地をご本人と相談しながら、
極力軽く！涼しく！見た目も涼やかに！でも豪華さは残す！
がテーマに制作しました。
As there are many chances to perform at summer festivals that are held outside, I set “as light, cool, looking cool, but still fancy, as possible” for the concept, consulting with her about the design and cloth for the kimono.

刺繍の鳥を帯に1羽どーんと！
帯締めも夏用のを使いました。
Bird pattern embroidery on the belt!
The fastening belt is that for summer.
透け素材は絽とジョーゼットを使い分け、
袖の実部分は実はうっすらと着物地を透けさせています。
I used different Semi-transparent materials from silk gauze to georgette. The sleeves are slightly see-through.

アメリカツアーは大充実でした！！
The U.S.A tour was so fulfilling!!
ちなみに飛行機の中ではお友達サフィラちゃんが「天皇の料理番」に出演していると聞いていたので見たらかなり重要な役でびっくりしたり！
By the way, I heard my friend Sapphira was appearing on “The emperor`s chef” and watched it on the airplane, finding her part was really important!
けっこう前にお作りした衣装を見かけてこれまたびっくりしたり！（和太鼓・橋口隆之さん）
And got surprised to see a costume I made long ago! (Takayuki Hashiguchi, a Japanese drum player)
ツアーの成功ももちろんですが、
最後の最後まで嬉しい気持ちになりました。
Adding to the pleasure of success at the tour, I was blissful at the very end.
