目黒雅叙園・百段階段にて開催中の、
「和のあかり×百段階段」展 2016 ～日本の色彩、日本の祭り～で
私が展示している作品について記事を書こうと思います
I`ll blog about my works being displayed in “Wanoakari×Hyakudankaidan(one hundred-step stairs)exhibition 2016~Japanese colors,Japanese festivals~” at Hyakudankaidan at Meguro Gajoen.
コンセプト、タイトルとして付けたのは「今世和様衣紋」（こんぜわようえもん）
書いて字の如く！
両方主に打掛の生地を使用しているのですが、黒のほうは1枚、白は2枚を解いて仕立てました。
This time, the concept is, as written as a title, literally,”Konzewayouemon(Japanese style clothes of the present and past)”.
Dress material for robes are used for both, one for the black one and two for the white one.
そしてここでアピールしたいのが！
3枚とも、この会場・雅叙園さんから中古品というこでご提供下さった物だということです！
式場としても人気で有名な雅叙園だからこそですね
しかもすべて廃棄扱いのものだったそうです！
実物をご覧頂ければわかると思いますが、まだまだ綺麗です・・・
（解いてから、良いところをなるべく使っているからというのもあるとは思いますが、元もちゃんと綺麗でした）
廃棄されてしまうところをこうやってアップサイクルして
また日の目を浴びれるようにしてあげる事、大好きです
What I`d like to make an appeal about is!
All these three are provided by the venue as used goods!
It`s because the place is famous as a wedding place.
Moreover, these were to be wasted!
As you could see them, they are still so beautiful…
(Though I adopted fine parts to my dresses, the original ones were good enough.)
I love recycling those about to be thrown away and let them see the light again
黒の方は、着物の柄行きをそのまま生かしつつ、帯をコルセットに替え、
裾にはパニエを入れて膨らませ、シルエットを着物とドレス半々で融合させました。
As for the black one, I changed the belt into a corset and put a pannier in the hem to have it wide-based to make its silhouette half kimono and half dress.
半襟は蝶と桜の刺繍、チョーカーには数珠を思わせる素材を使い、
帯どめ風にあしらった飾りを配しました。
On a quality collar for an under kimono, there is a butterfly and cherry blossoms patterned embroidery and on the choker, materials that cause us image of pearls, to make it look like a sash clip.
生地はベロア地、ラメなど現代的な表現ですが、柄は牡丹、桜、御所車と古典的で、
和洋な服のシルエットと高相性でした！
Although the texture has a modern style like velour and lame, its patterns are classic such as peony, cherry blossoms, and a court carriage, which definitely matches the silhouette of Japanese and Western dress!
袖や裾は数枚重ねて着ているようなデザインに。
浅葱色のような生地は、この打掛についていた裏地です。
I piled the sleeves and the lower edges to make it look as if wearing them.
The pale blue-green-looking cloth is a lining fabric for this kimono.
帯は二枚羽のふくら雀もどき（作り帯）を作りました。
I made a double-feathered-sparrow-like belt for it.
白い方は、折型、十二単、つまみ細工、びら簪などのいろいろな和の要素を使い、
マーメイド型のドレスにまとめました。
I made the white one into a mermaid dress, using many Japanese factors like a ceremonial robe of a Japanese court lady, ”Tsumami Craft”, wrapping papers, kanzashi(a hair accessory for women) with hanging ornaments.
白生地は打掛、赤生地は桜の織模様が素敵な着物の八掛を使用しました。
胸元のデザインは折型を参考にし、ショールを振袖のように見せています。
The white part is from a kimono, the red part from a hemline at the bottom of a kimono with a pattern of cherry blossoms.
トレーンは十二単の裳裾を模しています。
The train imitates that of a robe for a ceremonial dress for women.

It just flashed across my mind to write about this article, so I only have few photos of the white one…(and many camera shakes for the black one),I`ll go take pictures next time!
ちなみに展示されていますのは、百段階段の中腹の静水の間です。
My works are at ”Seisuinoma(The room of Seisui)”,which is on the middle of the stairs.
画家さんのお名前から取った名前なんですね。
会場自体が素晴らしい絵画や彫刻で埋め尽くされている、貴重な場所ので、
展示品だけでなく、壁や天井もよーく観てみて下さいね！
The name derives from a painter.
Pay attention not only to the exhibition but to the ceiling and the floor, as the venue is a precious place full of splendid paintings and sculptures!
